I feel myself melt into the scene
My eyes no longer watch the ocean, They are the ocean. And I swim within their depths The wind tugs my hair skyward Until pink strands Merge with sunset clouds Rosy, soft, like a dream My skin is scratchy With coarse grains of sand I feel the coolness of the earth Within my bones I am vast, unknowable I am small and tangible I am that which I am And also that which I am not I am one small piece I am everything And do not forget, You are this also.
